Same-day appointments are often available.

When is your due date?

Your date stays on this device. We never see it.

Three sessions, by week

Just want to hear the heartbeat? Heartbeat-only visits start at 11 weeks. Call (818) 243-7010 and we’ll set one up.

Just found out? Come see.

A Pregnancy Check is a few quiet minutes with a big screen, early in your pregnancy. It’s one of the visits we’re booked for most. Just had a positive test? Here’s how to see it for yourself.

  • Private. The room is yours, with whoever you bring.
  • Quick. The scan takes a few minutes, and we can often see you the same day.
  • Simple. No referral, no insurance. $100, with 8 prints to take home.

A keepsake visit, not a medical exam. Your doctor or midwife still comes first.

Keep it a secret.

Planning a reveal party? Tell us before you lie down. We keep the big screens off, find the answer, and seal it in an envelope you can’t see through. Hand it to your baker, your best friend, or whoever is in charge of the confetti.

  • A thick, opaque, double-sealed envelope, $15. Ask for it when you book.
  • A secret session costs the same as any other gender scan.
  • Rather find out together? Bring your family and friends and see it live, right here.

30,000+ scans

The person holding the probe matters.

Irina, our lead sonographer, has been doing ultrasound for nearly two decades, all of it in Southern California. More than 30,000 scans in, she knows how to find a shy baby’s good side.

I enjoy helping pregnant mothers and their families, friends, and other loved ones see their baby. I see what it does for bonding, and I see how important that is in today’s world.

Honest about what this is.

A visit here is for joy: a first look, an answer, a face. It is not medical care, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

What we are

  • An elective keepsake studio, for the joy of seeing your baby.
  • Quick. A gender scan can take as little as 2 minutes; a 4D session usually takes 10 to 15.
  • Experienced. More than 20,000 gender sessions since 2006.
  • Straight with you. If we’re not certain it’s a boy or a girl, we say so, and the re-check is free.

What we’re not

  • A medical exam. We can’t diagnose or rule anything out.
  • A replacement for prenatal care. Keep every appointment with your doctor or midwife.
  • Covered by insurance. Sessions are elective.

As seen on TV.

Questions we hear every day

Can I come in early, just to see?

Yes. A Pregnancy Check is a short 2D ultrasound in the first 10 weeks: $100, with 8 prints. Call (818) 243-7010 first and we’ll tell you whether it’s the right week. We can often see you the same day.

How early can you tell if it’s a boy or a girl?

We book gender scans from 13 weeks, and we’re surest from 15. If we can’t call it with confidence at your visit, you come back for a free re-check.

When is the best time for a 4D ultrasound?

Any time from 16 to 36 weeks. Come between 16 and 24 weeks to see the whole baby in one frame, or between 28 and 34 weeks for close-ups of the face and hands.

How long does a session take?

A gender scan can take as little as 2 minutes once we have a clear view. A 4D session usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. When a session is particularly difficult, we take extra time, and we bring you back for another try.

Is this a medical ultrasound?

No. Our sessions are elective keepsakes. We don’t diagnose, and a visit here doesn’t replace any appointment with your doctor or midwife.
